Due to popular demand, a re-release has been confirmed!! The Mega Drive exclusive title ‘Heavy Armoured Soldier Raynos’ was released in 1990 as a 2D side-view action shooter. The ‘AS-5E3 Raynos’, the main mech (player’s mech) from this game, has been released as a 1/35 scale plastic model kit! Whilst the overall form follows the original package artwork and other references from that era, military mecha-style details have been added throughout, resulting in a design that meets the standards of today’s mecha fans. This re-release is based on the ‘Renewal Ver.’, which featured completely revamped packaging and digital assets when the game was revived on PlayStation 4 in December 2015.
