Due to popular demand, a re-release has been confirmed! ‘R-TYPE’, the landmark side-scrolling shooter released in 1987. From the seventh instalment in the series, ‘R-TYPE FINAL 3 EVOLVED’, released in March 2023, the player’s craft, the ‘R-9A [ARROW-HEAD]’, has been brought to life as a plastic model kit!! With the full cooperation of Granzella Co., Ltd., the craft from the game’s packaging artwork has been faithfully reproduced. Thanks to meticulous colour separation achieved through detailed part division and the use of decals, the finished model closely resembles the original simply by assembling the parts. Even the cockpit interior and the pilot have been meticulously sculpted. The mysterious lifeform known as the ‘Force’ is included. Some of the side parts have been newly sculpted! Additionally, new ‘Round Bits’ and ‘Decals’ are included. The display base is split into sections for the ‘Force’ and the aircraft, allowing you to position the Force behind the aircraft or display the aircraft on its own, making this a product with high play value.
