The third instalment of the Mobile Police Patlabor × Zoids collaboration! In the comic adaptation project ‘Zoids × Patlabor: Code Name B.U.D.D.Y.’, the formidable foe Fang Griffon—who stands in the protagonists’ way—makes its appearance. The Fang Tiger has been completely revamped, clad in jet-black wings. Its full-body armour features a new design that recreates the image of a glossy griffin. The mecha design is by renowned mecha designer Hideki Tenjin. Furthermore, Yutaka Izubuchi, the mecha designer for the headgear, serves as supervising designer, whilst screenwriter Kazunori Ito is involved in creating the world-building. When the switch is flipped, it begins to move forwards; the head lowers in four stages, and the two fangs on its back (Twin Fangs) extend forwards. It then moves forwards whilst moving the Twin Fangs up and down and opening and closing its mouth. The large wings can be manually posed up and down, and forwards and backwards. The standard Fang Tiger armour parts are also included in black, allowing the model to be converted into the ‘Black Fang Tiger’ form.
