ADVANCED – It represents a step towards further evolution and the advancement of conventional wisdom. This is the pinnacle brand that embodies the ultimate form of moving kits, incorporating ‘reconstruction’, ‘refinement’ and ‘polishing’ based on themes specific to each Zoid. A 1/72 scale assembly kit. This product comprises the ‘AZ-17 Ultra Saurus’ and the ‘AZ-17EX Gravity Cannon (exclusive to the Ultra Saurus)’, supplied as a complete set. The ‘AZ-17 Ultra Saurus’ features a motorised unit that, when switched on, enables it to perform dynamic, dinosaur-like movements. It walks dynamically via motorised movement, swinging its long neck forwards and backwards whilst swaying its tail widely from side to side. The Zoid Cores built into the eyes and chest illuminate via LEDs. Includes six standard soldier figures that can be seated in the cockpit. (Attached to the sprue. Unpainted.) In synchronisation with its walking motion, the 360mm Linear Cannon and AZ 90mm triple-barrelled Pulse Laser Gun move up and down, whilst the propellers on the sides of the abdomen rotate. When the switch is turned on whilst the communications antenna on the catapult is folded down, the walking mechanism stops and the transformation mechanism is activated, switching to an underwater submersion mode with the neck lowered. In addition to ON and OFF, the switch features a ‘Display Mode’ that illuminates the LEDs only. The ‘AZ-17 Ultra-Saurus Exclusive Gravity Cannon’ marks the first three-dimensional model of the Gravity Cannon to be released as a product. Not only can it walk whilst mounted on the ‘AZ-17 Ultra Saurus’ itself, but it is also capable of recreating the firing animation. (The Planetary Sight projectile will not be fired.) When the switch is turned on whilst the communication antenna on the deck is folded down, the walking mechanism stops and the model automatically performs a sequence of movements: from reloading to assuming a firing stance, aiming, and firing. By attaching the included effect parts, you can recreate the scene of the moment of firing. Furthermore, the DX version includes, as bonus parts, a micro-figure of a tiny Zoid, a ‘Munbei’ pilot figure, and a clear canopy parts runner. The seated Munbei figure can be placed inside the cockpit. Six types of micro-figures are included: ‘Blade Liger’, ‘Lightning Cyx’, ‘Divison’, ‘Storm Soder’, ‘Genobreaker’ and ‘Iron Kong PK’. By reconfiguring the Blade Liger micro-figure, you can recreate the firing scene from the series finale. (The Blade Liger itself is not fired.) Furthermore, a mini-model of the Planetary Sight projectile is included.
